The individual, known as Agozi Commedy on Facebook, had initially suggested that Mercy Chinwo’s son resembled Nathaniel Bassey, urging Blessed to undergo a DNA test as he suspected the child was fathered by Bassey.
Despite facing criticism, he stood by his allegations of paternity fraud.
Nathaniel Bassey took legal action by filing a police petition against him and others who made similar claims on social media.
Overwhelmed by the consequences, the man expresses regret and begs for forgiveness on his social media platform, admitting he was influenced by social media hype and has been battling depression since the legal action was initiated.
