Mayorkun stated he felt compelled to respond because of how easily people can be misled, asserting that he has never met Nicki in person and has no idea where her allegations originated.
He pledged to take legal action against her. On his Instagram page, he shared a video of himself in the studio recording and a snippet of his new song.
Mayorkun turned the situation into a song, captioning his post: “At the end of the day, the day gotta end! ‘Under The Canopy’ out at midnight! 🤞🏾❤️”
