Lady jumps from moving car as driver and police officer struggle over steering at high speed. A young Nigerian woman shares her harrowing experience with a police officer who fought with her cab driver over the steering wheel for resisting arrest.
A social media user, @tempah_thealien, posted a video on a microblogging platform, detailing his sister’s life-threatening situation.
In the video, the police officer is seen grappling with the driver while the car speeds down the highway.
The woman pleaded with the officer to let the driver go to avoid a collision with other vehicles, but the officer ignored her.
The officer insisted that his superior had ordered him to arrest the driver and take the vehicle to the police station. The driver, however, refused and attempted to flee with the officer in the car.
Ultimately, the woman jumped from the moving vehicle to save herself after repeatedly crying out for help.
“Bro, this is my sister. She kept begging this man to let the driver go, but the officer said his ‘Oga’ was more important than their lives. They struggled for over 10 minutes on the highway, and she had to JUMP out of the moving vehicle like wtf!” the video caption read.
