Historian Claims Jesus Christ Was an Igbo Man Born and Crucified in Owerri (Video)
A historian has made the controversial claim that Jesus Christ was an Igbo man, born and crucified in Owerri, Imo State.
The historian asserts that Jesus Christ’s original name was Mmanuelu, which was later altered to Emmanuel.
He further alleges that Jesus was crucified at a place called Ugwu Ekwema.
Additionally, the historian claims that the Iriji festival, also known as the New Yam Festival, was originally a celebration to commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, referred to as Mmanuelu. The historian also states that Jesus’ father’s name was Njensoafo, which was later changed to Joseph.
