On Saturday, October 12, Cardi B stepped out at a private club in New York City, marking her 32nd birthday celebration. The next day, she took to Instagram to share an unfiltered update about her wild night, revealing how rough she felt afterward.
“I’m never going outside again,” Cardi joked in a video, still wearing makeup and false eyelashes from the night before. She added humorously, “I will never, ever drink again.”
In another post, Cardi shared a screenshot of a message she sent to a friend, admitting she was “throwing up all the way to the afties (afterparty).” Reflecting on the night, she sarcastically suggested, “They need to ban Hennessy out this country,” after finishing an entire bottle of cognac at the event.
Revisiting Satin Dolls: Cardi’s Old Workplace
Before the night began, Cardi posted a series of glamorous photos in a black minidress. In the caption, she revealed the backstory behind the dress, explaining that her original birthday outfit didn’t fit properly. Determined not to let anything ruin her special night, she made a quick visit to Satin Dolls Gentlemen’s Club & Sports Bar, the same club she worked at for four years during her early 20s.
“The dress I planned to wear was too small, and there wasn’t enough fabric,” she shared. “So I jumped in a truck, went to Satin Dolls, and grabbed this little dress because NOTHING was gonna stop this night.”
Cardi also shared a touching note about how the staff at the club still treat her like they used to, long before her rise to fame. “They don’t see me as Cardi B. They still treat me like Camilla (Fun fact: That was my stripper name),” she revealed.
