A lady called ‘catfish’, dumped on first date because she looked different. A youthful American woman finds herself in tears after a dismal initial encounter with a gentleman who ditched her due to disparities between her online appearance and real-life presentation.
A TikTok individual known as @redcookie229 shared her dreadful date episode on the video-sharing platform.
As per her account, she sensed something amiss the moment her date laid eyes on her at the eatery where they arranged to meet. Allegedly, he refrained from reciprocating her smile upon her approach.
In a candid manner, he vocalized his reservations regarding her appearance, labeling her a ‘catfish’ who seemed more youthful and appealing in photographs than in reality.
Recounting her ordeal, she tearfully conveyed the distress inflicted by his words.

It’s not about the look but the personality portrayed in the pic she used.
