After King Charles was evicted from Frogmore Cottage, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry moved out formally.
Recent reports indicate that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have officially relocated from their residences in the United Kingdom.
ITV News reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have departed from Frogmore Cottage, three months after being evicted by King Charles III.
A palace official confirmed to ITV News that Harry, aged 38, and Markle, aged 41, have recently vacated the estate.
Despite their move to California in 2020 and relinquishing their royal titles, Frogmore Cottage, situated on the Windsor estate, had been their official residence in the UK.
During April, Harry briefly stayed at the five-bedroom property while in town for his phone hacking lawsuit against the Daily Mail. However, the latest Sovereign Grant report reveals that Frogmore Cottage is currently unoccupied.
Reportedly, the eviction process was initiated by King Charles, aged 74, just one day after Prince Harry’s memoir, titled “Spare,” was released. The memoir contained shocking allegations against his estranged family, including claims that Charles frequently joked about not being Harry’s biological father.
Speculation within the UK suggests that King Charles III intends to grant the five-bedroom property to his brother, Prince Andrew. However, Andrew is said to oppose the idea due to it being a significant downgrade from his opulent 30-bedroom residence, Royal Lodge.
