Watch a fatal stabbing incident with a knifeman shouting ‘Allahu Akbar,’ a French school is evacuated due to a bomb threat
A school in northern France, where a teacher was tragically stabbed to death by an individual who reportedly shouted ‘Allahu Akbar,’ was evacuated due to a bomb threat.
Around 10:30 am (9:30 am GMT) on Monday, October 16, the Gambetta Middle and High School in the northern city of Arras saw dozens of staff and students evacuated as a precaution after the police received a threat via the school’s website.
Upon the arrival of the bomb disposal team, along with sniffer dogs, no indications of a bomb were found. Consequently, hundreds of students and teachers were allowed to return to the high school later in the afternoon.
This bomb threat occurred following the alleged stabbing death of French language teacher Dominique Bernard by Mohamed Mogouchkov, a 20-year-old Chechen refugee who reportedly shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ during the attack last Friday. This incident led French President Emmanuel Macron to emphasize the need for a resolute approach toward extremists in France.
It’s noteworthy that Bernard’s tragic murder coincided with leaders of Hamas, a Palestinian terrorist organization responsible for violent attacks in Israel, calling for demonstrations by Muslims worldwide on a ‘day of Jihad.’
