Kizz Daniel Addresses Allegations of His Arrest in Ivory Coast Over Payment Dispute
Nigerian music sensation, Kizz Daniel, has responded to accusations of his arrest in Ivory Coast, where he was purportedly taken into custody for allegedly accepting payment but not delivering a performance.
In a statement posted on his Instagram page, the singer clarified that his agent had entered into a contractual agreement with a clause stating, “no money, no performance.” He further explained that, despite facing a delay in bank transfers and a promise of receiving his performance fee upon arrival, he willingly flew in and commenced his performance.
Kizz Daniel also revealed that he proceeded with his performance, even without receiving payment, but was forced to halt the show due to an altercation involving his team backstage. The artist emphasized that he was not arrested and has since departed the country.
