Cartel Hitmen’s Fatal Mistake: Accidentally Killing Their Own Boss, Ending in Tragic Consequences (Full Video)”
In a shocking turn of events, hitmen associated with a notorious drug cartel reportedly murdered their own boss due to a case of mistaken identity. The incident unfolded at a private health clinic in Culiacán, Mexico, on the night of September 28.
These gunmen, loyal to Los Chapitos, the sons of the infamous drug lord Joaquín ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán, had been guarding another individual receiving treatment at the hospital. However, a violent confrontation erupted when another armed man arrived on the scene. This newcomer was later identified as “El 22,” believed to be responsible for overseeing the cartel’s operations in Guamúchil, Sinaloa.
The unfortunate incident stemmed from a lack of knowledge about the cartel’s leadership structure. El 22 had visited the clinic with the intention of financing the wounded man’s surgery, but the cartel members mistakenly assumed he was a rival hitman arriving to eliminate the injured individual.
Tragically, the shootout resulted in the deaths of four people, including Dr. Otniel Montoya, who became an unintended victim caught in the crossfire.
One of the hitmen responsible for killing their own boss required medical attention after realizing the grave error. Reportedly, he chose to end his own life using a firearm rather than face the grim consequences that the cartel would have imposed for his fatal mistake.
Videos circulating on social media have purportedly depicted the funeral of El 22, featuring floral arrangements alongside the names of El Chapo’s sons as a sign of their respect for the fallen gangster.
