Reasons Why Fresh Blood Found in Mohbad’s Exhumed Grave a Doctor Give Full Explanation (Watch Full Video)
A Nigerian doctor, known as Aproko Doctor on Twitter, has provided potential explanations for the discovery of “fresh blood” inside the grave of the late singer, Mohbad, following its exhumation on September 21. Some individuals who visited the grave after the exhumation reported finding fresh blood and questioned how it could still be present eight days after burial.
Aproko Doctor offered a possible reason for the presence of fresh blood inside the grave. He explained that blood contains haemoglobin, which gives it a red color and carries oxygen through the body. When blood is exposed to air, the cells containing haemoglobin die, causing the blood to change color to a darker shade due to the conversion of haemoglobin into methemoglobin. Typically, when individuals pass away, their blood remains in their system, although circulation stops.
The doctor noted that during the embalming process, the blood is usually replaced with another fluid, raising the question of whether Mohbad was embalmed. Even with embalming, it’s challenging to remove all the blood, and some may remain. The red color of the blood might persist because underground graves have limited exposure to air, preventing the haemoglobin from fully changing to a darker color.
Regarding the significant amount of blood found, the doctor speculated that injuries to Mohbad’s body, such as his neck being positioned unnaturally in the coffin, could have caused blood to leak out from his vessels. However, without access to the body for examination, these explanations remain speculative, and individuals with direct access to the body would be better equipped to provide insights.
