Text Messages Reveal Alleged Bribe in Lawsuit Against Diddy
Diddy’s latest accuser, Thalia Graves, who is suing him for allegedly raping her in 2001, reportedly attempted to bribe her ex-boyfriend with $3 million to corroborate her claims. TMZ obtained a text exchange between Thalia and her former boyfriend from November 2023, in which she discussed her lawsuit against Diddy, stating, “he’s the one that has the money.”
The Alleged Bribe
In the messages, Thalia asked her ex to support her story by claiming he had seen a video of the alleged assault, offering him $3 million in return. “What do you [want] n$3 mil?” she wrote. Her ex, who confirmed the text messages’ authenticity, interpreted the offer as a bribe and subsequently blocked her on all communication platforms.
Diddy’s Legal Team and Graves’ Response
Diddy’s legal team is reportedly aware of these texts. Thalia’s attorney, Gloria Allred, responded to the claims, stating, “It is very common that rich powerful men and their supporters attempt to discredit, shame, and humiliate accusers.” Allred maintains that Graves is prepared to face the allegations in court.
Security Guard Denies Involvement
Thalia’s lawsuit also includes Joseph Sherman, Diddy’s former head of security, whom she accuses of being complicit in the assault. However, Sherman has denied any involvement, claiming he was not working for Diddy at the time of the alleged incident.
The case has sparked significant attention, with both sides preparing for a legal showdown.
