Shannon Sharpe Accidentally Goes Live on Instagram During Intimate Moment
Pro Football Hall of Famer and ESPN personality, Shannon Sharpe, admitted he accidentally broadcast live audio of a sexual encounter with a woman to his 3.2 million Instagram followers. The incident occurred on Wednesday when Sharpe unknowingly shared a livestream during which he was heard engaging in s3x acts with an unknown female.

During an emergency episode of “Nightcap,” Shannon Sharpe acknowledged the mishap, confirming that his Instagram account was not hacked, but that the livestream was a result of his own actions.
“Obviously, I am embarrassed,” Sharpe said. “I’m someone who is extremely private, and to have one of my most intimate moments—the audio—shared with the world is embarrassing for a number of reasons.”
Shannon Sharpe’s Response to the Incident
Sharpe explained that the situation happened when he “threw his phone on the bed” and unknowingly triggered Instagram Live. He added, “I’ve never used IG Live before, so I didn’t know how it works, and suddenly, my phone started going off.” It was his marketing partner, Jamie Fritz, who informed him of the live stream.

Initially, Sharpe claimed in a now-deleted post on X (formerly Twitter) that his Instagram account had been hacked. “Beware my @shannonsharpe84 Instagram was hacked this morning,” Sharpe wrote before deleting the post and later owning up to the mistake.
At 56, Shannon Sharpe is known to be private about his dating life and has never been married.
