Travis and Jason Kelce Sign $100 Million Podcast Deal
NFL stars Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce have landed a massive $100 million podcast deal. Travis Kelce, who gained additional fame in Hollywood after dating singer Taylor Swift, is the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end and recently celebrated his third Super Bowl win. Jason Kelce, who retired this year after a 13-year career with the Philadelphia Eagles, joins his brother in this new venture.
The Kelce brothers signed the deal with Amazon’s podcast studio Wondery for their show, “New Heights with Jason & Travis Kelce.” This agreement gives Wondery exclusive ad-sales and distribution rights for all audio and video episodes, including the entire back catalog.
“New Heights,” now entering its third season, is a popular sports podcast where the Kelce brothers share commentary, insights, and interviews about the NFL. The show ranks among the top sports podcasts, especially during football season, according to the press release.
“We love this show and the fanbase that has grown with us over the last two seasons,” the Kelce brothers said in a statement on Tuesday.
“We’re excited to partner with Wondery for this new chapter of the podcast and look forward to reaching new heights,” added Aaron Eanes, co-founder of A&A Management, representing Travis.
The deal goes into effect this month, just in time for the new NFL season.
Although Wondery holds the distribution deal, the podcast will still be accessible on other platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. However, subscribers to Wondery+ will enjoy perks like ad-free listening and early access to episodes. The Kelce brothers’ announcement is the latest in a series of blockbuster podcast deals.
