Nigerian Lady Deletes Tweet Labeling Men as “Potential Rapists” After Being Accused of Selling Nude Photos for ₦45,000 on Snapchat
A Nigerian woman who recently stirred controversy on Twitter by labeling men as “potential rapists” has deleted her tweet after facing allegations of selling nude photos on Snapchat for ₦45,000.
The incident began when the woman, known by her Twitter handle @pelumiiige_, posted a tweet claiming that “all men are potential rapists,” which quickly attracted widespread attention. However, the narrative shifted when several users began sharing screenshots and payment receipts, accusing her of selling explicit images to men online.
One user, identified as “Ray,” posted a screenshot claiming to have paid ₦45,000 for her nude photos, stating, “lmao I paid 45k for your nude pictures on 16 November 2024 btw. still got everything here.” Other users soon joined in, accusing her of hypocrisy and calling her out for condemning men while allegedly engaging in such activities.
The backlash intensified, with one tweet remarking, “You accused someone of rape because he moaned to the nudes you sent, knowing full well you’re the one selling your nudes to them.” Another user questioned her motives, saying, “You that collect money on Snapchat for nudes want to use the boy and chase clout because he refused to send you money too.” As the controversy grew, the original tweet was deleted, but not before the incident went viral.
