Crypto Trader Turns $1,000 into $400,000 by Trading Tron’s Memecoin Sunwukong
The crypto world is buzzing about an anonymous trader who turned a $1,000 investment into $400,000 by trading a new Tron memecoin called Sunwukong. Sunwukong is a memecoin created on Tron using a new tool called Sun Pump, which helps generate Tron-based memecoins.
A blockchain analytics company, Arkham Intelligence, noticed the transaction and shared the details, congratulating the trader.
Arkham tweeted: “Congratulations to trader TDm2 for turning $1,000 into $400,000 on SUNWUKONG. TDm2 bought $999.9 worth of SUNWUKONG before it exited Sun Pump’s bonding curve two days ago. After Justin Sun changed his profile picture to Sun Wukong, TDm2’s tokens are now worth $403,187—a more than 400x gain.”
What is Sunwukong?
Sunwukong is a memecoin inspired by a character named Wukong from a newly released Chinese video game called Black Myth. The memecoin was created using Sun Pump, a Tron-based memecoin generator.
The game was launched on August 20 and has already attracted over 2.2 million players on Steam, making it one of the most played games on the platform.
According to DexScreener data, the value of Sunwukong’s memecoin jumped from about $3,000 to as much as $17 million, a gain of over 566,500% in less than 12 hours.
However, the value has dropped slightly, losing 1.6% from its highest point.
At the time of writing, Sunwukong is trading at $0.0118, with a 24.0% increase in the last 24 hours. Its highest price was $0.0119, and the lowest was $0.00843. The memecoin currently has a market capitalization of over $12 million.
Trader Yet to Sell Any Token
The anonymous trader has not yet sold any of his tokens, according to Tron scan data.
The Sun Pump memecoin generator, used to create Sunwukong, has already made $1 million in revenue since its launch 12 days ago. The project aims to replicate the success of Pump fun, a Solana project that has earned $95 million since its launch in January.
What to Know
While memecoin trading can be very profitable, it’s also very risky, with many traders experiencing significant losses. It’s important to only trade with money you can afford to lose.
