The notion that money can’t buy happiness is a common one. Undoubtedly, money is essential for meeting basic needs such as food, clothing, shelter, and other necessities of life. It is undeniable that having money is generally preferable to not having it. However, determining how much money is enough and when we have reached that point can be challenging.
For many, the pursuit of wealth becomes a goal in itself. But does wealth truly bring happiness? Often, the pursuit of money becomes a hindrance to finding true joy and contentment in life.
Some argue that having money makes it easier to be happy compared to not having it. However, in my observations, I have witnessed more unhappy individuals among the wealthy members of our society.
Ultimately, finding happiness goes beyond the acquisition of wealth and involves various other factors, such as fulfilling relationships, personal growth, and a sense of purpose.
