Trump Mocks Biden for Mistakes While Committing a Major One Himself
On Saturday night, Donald Trump boasted about being in superior “cognitive” shape compared to Joe Biden, accusing his Democratic opponent of multiple errors—even as he committed a significant blunder himself. Trump repeated the debunked claim that Biden confused Idaho and Iowa, and alleged that Biden had also mixed up Florida and Iowa. Trump then called for Biden to undergo cognitive testing, asserting that Biden “doesn’t even know what the word inflation means.” Trump said, “I think he should take a cognitive test like I did. I took a cognitive test, and I aced it.” He recounted his story about how he “got every question right” at a conservative conference in Detroit, boasting that the former White House doctor who administered the test had “never seen” such impressive results before. However, with that same doctor in the audience, Trump mispronounced his name twice.
“Doc Ronny! Doc Ronny Johnson! Does everyone know Ronny Johnson? Congressman from Texas,” he declared excitedly. He was referring to Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), the former physician and Republican ally who has repeatedly praised Trump’s “incredible genes.”
