Lady Hospitalized After Using Wig she Bought Online. A distressed woman took to social media to share her ordeal after a wig she purchased online landed her in the hospital.
Identified as @mommin_whilehealin on TikTok, she disclosed that she bought the wig from Amazon, but it resulted in her contracting molluscum contagiosum, a skin infection, leading to her hospitalization.
Molluscum contagiosum causes skin-colored bumps, and the woman showcased these bumps covering her face and body in a video.
In her words, “It’s 3 am and I’m in the hospital because I bought a wig off of Amazon and ended up with Molluscum.”
The video sparked reactions from online users, with some expressing skepticism about the possibility of getting the infection from a wig.
