2011 Clip Gains Attention Amid Allegations Against Diddy
A 2011 video featuring Justin Bieber and Sean “Diddy” Combs on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” has resurfaced following the music mogul’s recent arrest on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.
Diddy and Bieber’s “Big Brother” Relationship
In the clip, host Jimmy Kimmel asked about their friendship and if they had collaborated musically. Diddy, 54, described Bieber as “like a little brother,” while the then-16-year-old Bieber joked that their relationship was akin to the dynamic between Rob Dyrdek and his late bodyguard, Christopher “Big Black” Boykin.
Diddy reflected on their bond, emphasizing his protective feelings toward Bieber, calling him “one of the greatest kids you could ever know.”
The Lamborghini Mention and Diddy’s Warning
Kimmel then joked about Diddy buying Bieber a Bentley, to which Bieber replied that Diddy had promised him a Lamborghini, though he hadn’t received it yet. At this point, Diddy cautioned Bieber: “He knows better than to be talking about the things that he does with big brother Puff on national television. Everything ain’t for everybody.”
Renewed Attention on Another Video
Another video from the same era, where Diddy spoke about spending 48 hours with the then-15-year-old Bieber, has also resurfaced. In the clip, Diddy said, “We’re hanging out, and what we’re doing, we can’t really disclose,” calling the experience a “15-year-old’s dream.”
Diddy further joked about having “custody” of Bieber for the weekend, drawing comparisons to his past mentorship of Usher during his early career.
In a resurfaced clip from an interview on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Diddy said he wanted a teen Justin Bieber to keep what took place during their hangouts under wraps. 👀 https://t.co/tVwV3aE8mL pic.twitter.com/vy7k7rEdat
