Giant Naked Trump Puppet Featured in Las Vegas Art Installation
A massive 43-foot-tall naked puppet of Donald Trump has made its debut in Las Vegas. The foam-and-rebar sculpture, weighing around 6,000 pounds, is part of the “Crooked and Obscene Tour,” a provocative art installation set to travel across the United States.
Political Message Behind the Artwork
The organizers say that the nude portrayal of Trump is meant to symbolize transparency and vulnerability, challenging viewers to reflect on the public personas of political figures and the influence they wield. The installation aims to spark critical conversations about the transparency, or lack thereof, in politics.
Tour Across the U.S.
After its Las Vegas debut, the giant Trump puppet will tour various locations across the U.S., giving more people a chance to experience the controversial artwork firsthand.
Not the First Naked Trump Sculpture
This isn’t the first time Trump has been depicted nude in public art. Back in 2016, artist Joshua “Ginger” Monroe created five life-size naked statues of the former president, which were displayed without permits in cities like New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco as part of a project titled “The Emperor Has No Balls.”
Viewers can check out the new giant Trump puppet as it makes its way around the country.
