Anthony Martial Secures Record-Breaking Deal with AEK Athens
Anthony Martial has agreed to a landmark contract with AEK Athens, marking the biggest deal in the club’s history.
Martial’s Move from Manchester United
The French striker, who became a free agent after leaving Manchester United this summer following a nine-year tenure at Old Trafford, is set to join the Greek giants.
Reports indicate that Martial is finalizing a three-year contract with AEK Athens, with SPORT24 stating that the announcement was delayed but expected soon. According to Relevo, Martial has verbally agreed to the move.
The contract, worth £2.5 million per season and totaling £7.5 million including bonuses, will be the most lucrative in AEK Athens’ history.
Martial to Join Notable Teammates
If the deal is completed, Martial will join former Tottenham star Erik Lamela, Watford’s Roberto Pereyra and Nordin Amrabat, and ex-Brentford goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha at AEK Athens.
