Rapper Blueface Begins Serving Four-Year Sentence
Rapper Blueface has officially begun his four-year prison sentence, transitioning from the Men’s Central Jail in Los Angeles to North Kern State Prison in central California.
TMZ has obtained a new mugshot of Blueface, taken as he entered the general population at the medium-security facility. Known for his popular music, the rapper will have access to various programs aimed at preparing inmates for life after incarceration.
Despite his success in music, Blueface will benefit from North Kern State Prison’s educational and vocational programs, including Adult Basic Education, High School/GED preparation, and job training. The prison also offers religious services, self-help groups, and substance abuse programs.
Blueface’s sentence comes after a probation violation related to a 2021 assault charge. He surrendered in January and has been in custody since. During his time at North Kern, the prison staff will evaluate his background, medical and psychological history, and social relationships to provide appropriate work and educational opportunities.
