Erling Haaland Spends £2.1M on Two Private Jets Amid Stellar Season Start
Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has reportedly made a significant purchase, spending £2.1 million on two private jets, according to the Mirror.
Documents from his rights firm, York Promotions Ltd, reveal that the Norwegian star has entered into an agreement to acquire an interest in the aircraft. The annual accounts attached to these documents disclose that the company has committed £2,155,342 towards these acquisitions.
This news follows Haaland’s remarkable start to the season, where he has already scored four goals in just two Premier League matches. The 24-year-old netted a goal against Chelsea in the opening game and followed it up with a hat-trick in Manchester City’s impressive comeback against newly promoted Ipswich Town.
Haaland’s latest financial records indicate a substantial growth in his company’s assets, increasing to £12 million between December 2022 and December 2023. Additionally, his bank accounts show nearly £7 million in cash, including £2.5 million in net assets.
Known for expanding his business ventures, Haaland is reportedly considering entering the soft beverages market with plans to launch his own branded energy drink. According to The Mirror, his lawyers have filed documents with the UK’s Intellectual Property Office, listing products such as drinking water, sports drinks, energy drinks, fruit drinks, fruit juices, protein drinks, and caffeine-containing energy beverages.
