Hackers Take Over Kylian Mbappe’s X Account
Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe’s X account was hacked in the early hours of August 29. The hack became apparent when his account began promoting a cryptocurrency called ‘$MBAPPE,’ claiming it had reached 90,000 sales. The hacked account also posted provocative messages, including a tease about a potential transfer to Manchester United and a controversial comment on the long-standing rivalry between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
The tweets, which have since been deleted, caught the attention of the football community and sparked widespread controversy.
Among the posts were several messages focused on Manchester United, including a declaration that “Manchester is Red” and praise for the popular United fan account @UTDTrey, calling it “the best account on ft (football Twitter).” When a user asked if Mbappe preferred a move to London, the hacked account responded with, “London is s*** bro.”
Another tweet favored Cristiano Ronaldo over Lionel Messi, calling Ronaldo “the greatest football player of all time” while using a derogatory term to insult the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi.
