In his address delivered in Yoruba, Igboho rejected the notion that Tinubu wrecked the government, stressing that during Buhari’s tenure, he advocated for collective action to alleviate the suffering in the region. He lamented that while Buhari’s administration offered little respite, some Yoruba elders are now voicing grievances about hunger and considering protests. Igboho contrasted this with the Igbo community, highlighting their proactive approach in expelling Fulani herders and reclaiming their farmlands for agricultural activities. He urged Yorubas to unite similarly to reclaim their ancestral lands, enabling their parents to return to farming without fear.
