In one of the tracks, ‘Thank You,’ from his latest album, ‘I Told Them,’ he lamented the insufficient gratitude he receives despite consistently bringing pride to the nation. Rather than acknowledging his substantial musical contributions, Burna Boy highlighted the prevalence of rumors circulating about him. These unfounded speculations involve his mother’s alleged involvement as one of the dancers for the late Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti and insinuations about his fatherhood, with some suggesting that his lack of a baby mama aligns with potential impotency, contrasting with the norm among his colleagues.
