Today’s incident in Jalan Kuching involved at least three injuries in a collision between a car, a van, and three motorcycles. Unfortunately, two individuals who left the accident scene could not be located, leading to a two-hour traffic jam.
Assistant Commissioner Mohd Nadzri Hussain, Kuala Lumpur traffic police chief, provided details about the vehicles involved in the incident, including a Honda Civic, Nissan Vanette, Yamaha Ego, and two Honda Waves. He explained that the Honda Civic driver, heading towards Kepong, is suspected to have lost control of the vehicle, causing a collision with the oncoming Vanette. As a result, the van caught fire, and the three motorcyclists following it skidded and crashed.
The Honda Civic driver is currently missing, while the van driver suffered a concussion and injuries to his right leg. The Yamaha Ego rider sustained a fractured left arm and injuries to the right arm and foot. The conditions of the two Honda Wave drivers are yet to be determined, and one of them chose to leave the scene.
