Jhene Aiko and Big Sean Seek Legal Protection from Disturbing Fan (Watch)
Renowned American music artists Jhene Aiko and Big Sean are currently taking legal measures to safeguard themselves from an unsettling fan who has been persistently intruding into their lives. The duo has initiated court proceedings seeking a restraining order against a 29-year-old individual named Ian Craig Lees.
Jhene Aiko, in particular, filed for a temporary restraining order on Monday, August 21, citing instances of the fan’s troubling behavior. The situation escalated when the fan allegedly managed to infiltrate her property in Pacific Palisades. Despite having no prior connection to her, the individual has been attempting to establish contact, raising serious concerns for Jhene’s safety.
Reportedly, the individual has been appearing at Jhene Aiko’s performances and events, crossing boundaries that have now escalated to a point where he engaged in a physical altercation with residential security within her neighborhood. In a particularly alarming incident, the fan bypassed the security measures of their gated community and accessed the singer’s residence, which she shares with Big Sean, their child, and her daughter.
To address this disturbing situation, Jhene Aiko is seeking a temporary restraining order against the individual, which would prohibit him from approaching within 100 yards of her, Big Sean, or their children.
While the initial request for the temporary restraining order was denied by a judge, a court hearing has been scheduled for September 14 to further address the matter. This step demonstrates the artists’ commitment to their safety and well-being amidst the unsettling behavior of the intrusive fan.
