Chaotic Brawl Breaks Out as Dozens of Black and White Men Clash After Attack on Black Co-Worker (Video)
A large altercation erupted on a pier in Alabama, USA, involving dozens of black men and white men. The chaotic scene resembled a WWE fight, and it was captured on video. Witnesses stated that the conflict began when a group of white boaters attacked a black man who was working at the Montogomery Riverfront dock.
During the altercation, several individuals were handcuffed, and some were pushed into the river. The Montgomery Police Department issued four active warrants, with more likely to follow as they review the videos posted online.
The incident occurred in the 200 block of Coosa Street at 7 o’clock on a Saturday. Witnesses reported that one of the boaters refused to move their pontoon boat to allow the Harriott II Riverboat to dock, leading to the confrontation.
Montgomery mayor Steven Reed promptly addressed the incident, stating that the reckless individuals attacking the dock worker would face justice. The video shows a shirtless man initiating the violence by punching the dock worker, followed by two more white males joining in the assault. In response, a black man runs down a ramp to the pier, while another jumps into the water to defend the worker.
More black men arrive at the scene, backing up the dock worker and attempting to defuse the situation. However, the altercation escalates further, with one man using a folding chair to attack both a man and a woman who were pontoon boaters. Police later handcuffed several individuals involved in the altercation.
Montgomery authorities emphasize their commitment to investigating these unacceptable actions and holding those responsible accountable through the criminal justice system. The video footage serves as a reminder that violence of any kind should not be tolerated in the community.
These white people jumped this black security guard at the Riverfront. The staff got off the boat and it turned into WWE Smackdown. I’m so proud of Montgomery 😭😂 pic.twitter.com/4DG5bShXfz
